And the hunt is on....

No I'm not new to SL by any means, but there is still a lot to learn, see and do that I've not learned, seen and done. For example, I learned yesterday from my very good friend Madski that if you link prims together in a certain way using convex hull you can make something that should be 12 prims be 6.  It was like eye popping, jaw dropping moment for me! SL magic in person LOL. Anyway, something else I've recently learned about are hunts.  I've never participated in a hunt until I met Paul.  He obviously knows them well being a store owner, and yes I'd heard of them but really had no idea what they were.  Someone once showed me where a hunt item was in a store and it turned out to be men's underware so that was the last time I gave much thought to them.
Recently, since starting my job with Paul, I've had to learn a lot about hunts and am just blown away by how many there are and just what all you can get for free or nearly free.  I may be a tad biased but Paul has some of the best hunt items if I do say so myself, however I'm pretty pleased I'm learning about the SL past time. In the last hunt, Paul found this little couch that absolutely fit his space perfectly and had the best animations (pull your head out of the gutter, they were just single sit and cuddle animations).  The item was a freebie!  So of course that right there gets me excited because yes I love the latest fashions and could spend gobs on my look and my home, but what SLian doesnt want some great free stuff??
Soooo.. there are of course many places you can go and find out what hunts are going on all over the SL landscape and what each participant is giving out, but I'm going to take a moment to let you know the ones Paul has joined.
* The Vampire Diaries Hunt which is currently underway until November 30th...

* Nightmare Hunt which began on October 22 and will continue until November 10th...

The next hunts will begin in November, starting with The Sinister Goth Hunt which will begin on the first and run til the 30th and Lets Rock Hunt which kicks off on the 2nd and runs til the 30th. (stay tuned for pics for those hunt items)

{ The Belted Bra }

Lets face it, what better way to start blogging about your favorite clothing line than to talk about bra's.  Yes girls we all have to wear one and normally they are confining and uncomfortable and kinda bland.  Well that can not be said about these bra's.  They are anything but!  Paul's textures provoke images of dark clubs, filled with smoke, neon lights streaming through gyrating bodies while the music pumps the blood through your veins.  With this belted bra, a sexy mini skirt and killer heels there is no way you'll go unnoticed by the hotties in SL.

{Reverie}: A new beginning

I came to know the owner of the Second Life based store called Reverie about 3 months ago while running my own club, The Abyss.  Paul, or Thumper as he is nick named, found the club in a random search and decided to come check us out.  I used to have the line on many of my advertisements, "come check us out, stay and play, decide you never wanna leave."  Well this proved true for Paul.
It wasn't long before the very talented artist and virtual clothing designer was offering to sponsor events and eventually even moved his main store to our location.  It was at this time that I fell madly in love with his clothing and art.  His unique take on SL clothing had me running to buy lindens just so I could sport some of his wares.
Now its 3, nearly 4 months later, and Paul has started a new adventure, this time with a new store and a new assistant, lol meaning ME!  After closing down my club, I came to work with Paul full time as his assistant/manager/PR person/beggar for new fashions.  He cranked up his creative engines and has put out several new products, which include shoes, hoodies, jeans, jackets, and (my favorite) corsets.
You can also find his RL art at Reverie!  I personally would have all of us work in RL if i could.  His work is thought provoking and awe inspiring.  I'm no art critic but I know what i like.  I can relate to some of his pieces in a way that its like he must have been reading my mind when he created it.
Anyhoooo.. This blog is dedicated to the art and fashion of the man known as Thumper.
Stay tuned for all his latest designs and new creations... ♥Sy Winterwolf
